THASSOS

Thassos island is located on the northern side of the Aegean Sea. The fact that it is surrounded by both mountain and sea, makes a perfect combination of green scenery and crystal-clear blue waters. It is very close to the main Greek land, which makes the expenses to get here very low, comparing to other Greek islands

LIMENARIA

Limenaria is situated on the south side of the island of Thassos and it is considered to be a quiet haven for travelers. Limenaria beach stretches for about three kilometers from the harbor with its colorful fishing boats and crystal clear blue-green waters. On the back side of the hill you will find Palataki, which is the most popular site in Limenaria.

POTOS

Potos is a cosmopolitan seaside village on south side of Thassos island and it is famous for its nightlife and cosmopolitan atmosphere. Within a short distance, you will be able to find whatever you need during your holidays, such as super market, bakery, gift shops, numerous seaside taverns, car and bike rentals and much more.

WATER SPORTS

All the main beaches of Thassos are supplied with floating platforms where professional instructors will initiate you into water-skiing, jet-skiing, paragliding or wind surfing.

For the lovers of the deep there are also numerous well organized & equipped scuba diving centers all over the island.

TREKKING & CYCLING

Take advantage of Thassos’s old footpaths which link the traditional villages and discover the interior of the island which remains almost completely undiscovered.

Cycling is a unique way to explore the hidden and unspoiled parts of the Thassian countryside. Many biking tours are organized throughout the island.

SCUBA DIVING

The clean sea and calm water make Thassos ideal for scuba diving. Apart from the beauty of the land, Thassos has a magnificent seabed which you can explore with the help of the diving centers available in Thassos, mainly in Pefkari, Potos, Psili Ammos and Makiyammos. All diving centers have qualified staff with long experience and possess the necessary equipment. You will also pass through a shipwreck, which according to the legend was wrecked during the war with the Turks and it will make you feel like a hero coming from a historical novel dating back to the early 20th century.
